
Just over a week ago I finally saved up enough money and got myself an Apple Watch. I had been saving for a long time and it felt so good to finally get one! The thing that I love the most about it is that it helps me to make and achieve activity and fitness goals. Who knew that this little piece of technology would be helping me to feel so good! I love that it tells me how many calories I have burned, how effective a workout is, and it is great to be reminded to get up and walk around every once in a while! This piece of media is really helping my life in a positive way and I am excited to keep using it to improve in other aspects of my life as well!
It is interesting to me that the value of the media in our life is sometimes connected to hard it is to access. You mentioned that you have saved for a long time to have an Apple Watch and now that you have it you are really enjoying it. My Apple Watch was given to me and I haven't even charged it in months.

I feel like I've gotten stuck thinking of media as a negative thing, but I love that there really are different types of media that can truly be used for good things! I especially think it's interesting that this specific type of technology is actually encouraging activity rather than stifling it. I wonder what other types of media could be adjusted to be used in that way.
