Call Me a Nerd But....

Okay, I have been doing a TON of readings for most of my classes. At the beginning of the semester I opted to get most of my textbooks in their digital form cause who doesn't like to save a little dough, am I right?
Well, what I have discovered is that I miss reading real life books! I didn't realize how much I loved holding a book in my hand, feeling the satisfaction of turning a new page, and flipping open to my favorite parts. Although, I guess it is a little different with reading textbooks, but it reminded me of the love I have for reading in general. I want to read more actual books again! In fact, I am going to make that a goal of mine, make time to read an actual book.
Who knew that school would make me hate and then love books all over again.

  1. Hey I totally agree! During the school year I hardly do any reading from "normal" paper books because I'm so involved in my homework online! But this is a good reminder to take some time out of my day to hold an actual book in my hand.

  2. This semester one of my text books is online and I have found how much less I read for that class because the book is on a screen and not a physical copy. Kind of crazy how that works, but I totally agree with everything you have shared.

  3. Agreed! I forget how much I love books because I'm so busy with homework. Good for you for having a goal to read more actual books! I need that in my life.

  4. Hahaha, I love your comment! I love physical books so much! There is just so much more from the experience! The smell, the texture of the book in your hands, etc. I have tried e-books before and I do not like them nearly as much, but some people love them. I am definitely of the opinion that a physical book is much better than an e-book!
