This past week was a really tough one! Not only are midterms hitting hard and fast, I had a death in my family, and was a little sick. What I am so grateful for though, is technology and the ability it has to bring people closer together. I was able to talk to my family back home a lot and really feel like I was there supporting them through this hard time even though I was not able to be there physically. Through the Marco Polo app and just regular old phone calls, media has brought my family closer together and especially when we have weeks like this I am so grateful for these things.
I am so sorry to hear about the death in your family. But I am so glad that you were able to connect with your family with the help of media. That is the perfect way to use and reason for technology. I wish all the best for you and your family at this time.
