This Thanksgiving break I got asked the question of what I am studying and what my favorite class I am taking this semester is. I loved being able to share the things about media that I am learning from this class because it is so applicable to every person. Everyone comes into some kind of contact with media in their daily lives. It was really cool to talk about the rating systems of media, social media, and how these things can affect us in the long term. So this Thanksgiving I am grateful for this class and all it has taught me about being a better and more aware consumer of media.

Love this! It's always a good idea to remember what an amazing opportunity it is to be getting an education. As hard as this point of the semester always is, I'd rather struggle now than not be able to learn the things we do at BYU. And this class is so applicable and interesting!
